There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm. He was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods. He practiced in the woods; but he could never hit the target. Getting a little discouraged, he headed back for dinner.
As he was walking back he saw Grandma's pet duck. Just out of impulse, he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head and killed it. He was shocked and grieved! In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile; only to see his sister watching! Sally had seen it all, but she said nothing. After lunch the next day Grandma said, "Sally, let's wash the dishes" But
Sally said, "Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen." Then she whispered to him, "Remember the duck?" So Johnny did the dishes. Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing and
Grandma said, "I'm sorry but I need Sally to help make supper."
Sally just smiled and said, "Well that's all right because Johnny told me he wanted to help" She whispered again, "Remember the duck?" So Sally went fishing and Johnny stayed to help.
After several days of Johnny doing both his chores and Sally's; he finally couldn't stand it any longer.
He came to Grandma and confessed that he had killed the duck. Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug and said,
"Sweetheart, I know. You see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing, but because I love
you, I forgave you. I was just wondering how long you would let Sally make a slave of you."
Thought for the day and every day thereafter?
Whatever is in your past, whatever you have done... and the devil keeps throwing it up in your face (lying, cheating, debt, fear, bad habits, hatred, anger, bitterness, etc.)...whatever it is...You need to know that God was standing at the window and He saw the whole thing. He has seen your whole life. He wants you to know that He loves you and that you are forgiven.
He's just wondering how long you will let the devil make a slave of you.
The great thing about God is that when you ask for forgiveness; He not only forgives you, but He forgets. It is by God's grace and mercy that we are saved.

I have been thinking a lot about growing up, and all of the relationships and broken hearts we go through. I always wonder how many times I said "I love you" to someone and knew I didn't mean it. It makes me think about all of the people that have said they love me and didn't mean it as well, and I get really pissed off, because I hate when people lie. I mean, if they were lying to get in my pants, that is one thing, but just for the sake of dragging this heart through the mud. I don't think anyone has ever used me for my body, and that really, really hurts. It really does. I want to be a booty call. letting go...
Perhaps the most terrible pain we may face in life is to lose someone near and dear to us. It may seem as if the pain of our loss will utterly destroy us. It may seem so terrible that we cannot want to go on living without them.
In whatever manner we become parted from our loved one, whether they most go to seek their fortunes, or are taken away from us by duty, whether they leave us by choice or are taken by death, we may feel painfully alone and inconsolable in our grief. But we must go on. To do anything less than to hold our chins high and meet the new empty day with courage and confidence in ourselves only demeans the truth and beauty of the love we shared with the child, parent, lover or friend whom we are missing.
Love is so far beyond all other joys in life that our entire lives may seem to be eclipsed in the moment we lose someone we dearly love. What would be the worth and joy of love if this were not so? Love is valued beyond measure, it is so infinite in regard to the depths it penetrates us to reach our soul. Love is a liberating force that frees us from fear and pain and worry and loss. Love is an uplifting force that motivates us to strive to be our very best. Love is a binding force that knits us warmly to our family, friends, communities and world. But love does not complete us or make us whole.
So when we face the terrible moment when we lose someone we dearly love we seem to lose so much more than just the person we love, we seem to lose parts of ourselves as well. Our grief goes beyond the outward loss of the person we love and encompasses an inner loss of ourselves, the loss of parts of us that blossomed in the gifted sight of our loved one’s eyes.
So we must let go. Whether we are letting go for only minutes, hours, days, or eternity, we must simply let go of all of our attachments to anyone we love. When we release ourselves from those attachments, whether in a healthy relationship, or in a relationship that has failed, or in circumstances in which we simply cannot remain together in our lives, we are actually enabling ourselves to experience the love we believe we are missing. We can never go back to the past to find our love for it is always in the present. When we release ourselves from our attachments to those we love we enable ourselves to experience the effulgence of our love completely without hesitation or reservation so that our lives once more are sweeter and full of comfort and joy.
So let go to let in the love that is real. Accept today for what it is, an opportunity to find everything you may seek in life and to love and be loved by everyone you meet. And who knows? With your head held up and your eyes wide open someone very special may appear that you may otherwise have missed. So let go to let love return to your heart. Just let go.

bye!!!danny..i love you so much!
Danny Gokey, the 29 year-old church music director and recent widower, ended up taking third place in the competition. His rendition of "You Are So Beautiful" brought tears to the eyes of judges Paula and Kara, and was described by Simon Cowell as a "vocal master class". His husky voice was consistently impressive to the judging panel.
Despite the fact that Danny had long been considered to be a front runner in the competition, he ultimately didn’t receive enough votes to take him to the finals. Host Ryan Seacrest said 88 million votes came in, but Danny’s share obviously wasn’t enough.
The judges seemed authentically shocked and surprised when Danny was chosen as the next to go. Ever since the top thirteen were announced, the judges subtly hinted that the finale would show a head-to-head between Adam and Danny. Danny’s husky voice was consistently strong and virtually flawless, despite him screaming his last note in his rendition of "Dream On" last week. Adam’s original rock spin on most of his tunes continues to impress both the judges and fans.
Throughout the entire show, Danny was the only contestant never to be a part of the bottom three. Even long-time favourite Adam Lambert was a bottom three contestant. It just goes to show that anything can happen from week to week. This week just happened to be Danny’s time to go.
I hope Kris wins! I thought Danny had a great voice and would have loved to see a Danny vs. Kris finale. Sorry but I'm not on the Adam bandwagon. I just can't handle it when shriek-boy starts singing... sometimes his songs will start out nice but then he starts screaming and sticks his tongue out and I have to leave the room... not enjoyable much! This season has had the most flagrant and obvious pimping of a contestant (Adam... duh!) that I've ever seen... Ryan has NEVER mentioned the number of votes separating contestants; Katy Perry with Adam Lambert scrawled all over the back of her cape!; Paula picking a song for Danny that no one in the universe has ever heard before or would ever want to hear!?!; Simon talking about personally calling U2's Bono asking permission for Adam to sing "One" and saying Bono said it would be his honor for Adam to sing it... **rigged much**; The judges, especially Paula, drooling all over themselves when Adam so much as moves on stage; Simon giving Allison a not so good review when she absolutely was brilliant on "Alone"; Adam allowed to be on the covers of magazines but Danny not allowed to appear on "Good Morning LA"; The show is Wack this year and the four judges concept sucks. GO KRIS!!! Let's everyone vote for Kris and piss off the tptb at Idol. This will be the upset of the century!!!

A letter to the one that god has prepared for me.

I am wondering at this very minute if you are thinking of me..
If like me, you are wondering what is taking us so long to find each other. Many times I thought I finally found you only to be disillusioned by the fact that my wait has not yet ended. I get up each day, each morning, hoping, dreaming and longing to meet you. I am thinking of how we will meet, would it be as romantic as the ones I have seen in movies? Or is it possible that I have known you all my life but but we have yet to realize that we are meant for each other? Oh how I wish you were here right now because you are the only one who has the answer to all my questions.
Sometimes, I ask myself if I have really known LOVE. I do not have the answers to that question either but I believe that more often than not, we will never really known what love is until we find the right person.. and since I haven’t found you yet, then maybe I do not really know what love is!
You just don’t know how often I dream of finally knowing what it fells like to be in your arms. Even at this very moment, I am imagining how you will simply sweep me off my feet! Perhaps, ill be drawn to you by your smile, your eyes, or maybe even how you manage to make me laugh by your silly little ways! I don’t really know for sure but I am praying that GOD will help me recognize you when the right time comes. I think of all the pain that I have gone through in the past and of how much I have cried since the day that I began my search. I just wanted you to know that I find my strength in clinging unto my vision of the beautiful life ahead of me, and that life is the life that I shall be spending with you. In my mind and in my heart, I know that you are worth all the pains and sacrifices. After all, the tears have been a part of my life, slowly washing away my flaws so I’d be perfect not in the truest sense, but just perfect for YOU !
I wonder if you’ve gone through so much pain as well and if you’ve been hurt so many times along the journey. But my dearest one, please don’t ever give up, because I am right here, patiently waiting for you. I assure you that we finally find each other, I’d slowly heal those wounds by my love. At night I’d look at my windows and stare at the beautiful sky, hoping that somehow you are also looking up and wondering about me.. I’d utter a silent prayer and send all my cries to the heavens, thinking that in time, they’d reach you. And when I feel impatient, I just close my eyes and believe that you are on my way and that you are looking to see me as well.. When I finally fall asleep, you are always in my dreams. It seems that, for now, that is the only place where I can hold on to you, long enough to tell you how much I love you. In my dreams, you would kiss away my fears and wrap me with your arms of love.
And this all the more makes me want to wake up and face the new day ahead with the hope that soon enough, you will no longer be a dream but a reality. Once again, I am assured that you are worth the wait. By then, I would simply look back and smile at all that I have gone through, in spite of the pain and amidst the simple joys in life and I would be very thankful, because they all lead me to you! In the meantime, take care of yourself for me. Hold on to our dreams and don’t even think of letting go. Believe in your heart that we will find each other no matter what happens.
GOD has planned the course. Don’t worry, don’t be afraid of getting lost. GOD WILL SAW TO IT, THAT ALL ROADS, NO MATTER WHICH ONE YOU CHOOSE, LEAD TO ME.

An insult to Filipinos

As we've all come to notice, in the past few decades, Filipinos have begun to infest the United States like some sort of disease. Their extensive involvement in the U.S.. Armed Forces is proof of the trashy kind of qualities all Filipinos tend to exhibit on a regular basis.. You can see this clearly by studying the attitudes and cultural Icons of most Filipino Americans.
Origins of Pinoys/Pinays:
Are they really Asian? Well we've come to accept the fact the Filipinos come from a part of the world known as South East Asia . But the term ' Asia ' is used in the wrong way. You may notice that contemporary Filipino Americans try very hard to associ ate themselves with groups that we know as Asian. I cannot count the number of times I have seen a ' Third World ' Filipino try to connect themselves to the Chinese or Japanese people. There is no connection and here's why. The Philippines is a Third World country. Nothing respectable has EVER been created by Filipino people during our entire human history. Young Filipino men in America have become obsessed with 'import racing'. They have an enormously perverted affection for Japanese cars. It's a common phenomenon. In their minds, these Filipinos somehow believe that they are Asian and that it somehow connects them to Japanese people and Japanese cars. They often take credit for the ingenuity of Japanese people and say how it's an 'Asian thing'. This term...'Asian thing' derived directly from African American slang 'blackthang'. 'It's a black thang.' 'It's an asian thang.' You can see the connection. It's even funnier that, in Japan , Filipinos are heavily discriminated against. The only filipinos that can live successfully in Japan are the filipino prostitutes. But that's the case for most Filipino people no matter where they live in the world. Now we've come down to this fact...and it is a fact.
Nothing in Filipino Culture can be seen as Asian. They have no architectural, artistic, or cultural influence which is in ANY way, asian. Thinking of the great countries in Asia such as Japan , Korea , and China there is no way you can possibly connect the Philippine Islands . This assault by filipino americans to connect themselves with the great peoples of North East Asia is foul and disgusting. Try visiting a young filipino's web site too. You'll see something called the 'Asian IRC Ring'. It has to do with the chatrooms. The most horrible thing about this is that these TRASHY people are trying to associate themselves with Asia again!! People in Asia don't act like, this at all. What we are seeing here is the natural Filipino in it's element with full access to technology and this is how they act! You will consistently see this behavior over and over again.
Another interesting thing is that these 'thirdworld' people also frequent RC chatrooms such as #chinese #japan and #asian. They must believe that they are some how related racially or culturally to North Asians. But it's completely WRONG! There might have been some distant contact With China and even less with Japan during World War II, but these people are actually more closely related to african americans and Mexican americans.
Do the parents of these young filipinos know what's going on? Would they accept this? I believe that they would and do. This is the natural 'Trash' element in filipinos manifesting itself. Nothing good has ever come from Philippines and I don't believe anything good ever will.
Recognizing your Roots (A Message to Filipinos)
To all filipino people:
Please recognize your ROOTS! You come from the Third World ! You country is a disgusting and filthy place. Most people there live in poverty! Your culture has MUCH MORE SPANISH influence than chinese, and absolutely no JAPANESE influence whatsoever. People in Japan and China , do not act like you. They do not constantly talk about sex and they have a MUCH HIGHER level of RESPECT for each other. There is NO WAY that you can connect yourself to Asia other than location. Your culture and technological advancement does not even come CLOSE to What Chinese, people have done in the past and what Japanese and Korean people are doing now! Everything you do is distinctly filipino. You cannot take credit for Japanese cars, video games, or Hentai! It's not an 'asian thing' it's, an 'American thing'. You have no concept of culture...no concept of asian ideas or asian philosophy! Can you demonstrate how you use Confucianism or Taoism in you everyday life?? You can't. And you will NEVER be able to. I understand that you are trying to create an identity for yourselves as young people... but it is NOT related to Asia .
Your Identity is Filipino.. That's all you are. Just Filipino. Think about what that means....

This is an open letter email by Art Bell, a radio talk show host in Nevada (more info in the email itself). Here is yet another person who has taken advantage of his power and priv ilege to use hateful words and racial stereotypes that breed further ignorance and intolerance in our society.
Art Bell is a talk radio host who has two shows that he broadcasts from his home in Nevada , that is rebroadcast by 400 stations across the country.
He's written 2 books. He lived in Okinawa , Japan for some years and had a radio program on the English station . And, though it's hard to believe after reading the following letter from him, he actually has been to the Philippines (he's traveled fairly extensively around the world).
the letter is so degrading, I think it's really important that everybody read this and not attack him, but respond to him in a civilized manner because otherwise his thoughts will be reaffirmed. Understand that not everyone has a viewpoint like we do, and that this is an opinion of someone who hopefully can be changed only by civil actions.
As we've all come to notice, in the past few decades, Filipinos have begun to infest the United States like some sort of disease. Their extensive involvement in the U.S.. Armed Forces is proof of the trashy kind of qualities all Filipinos tend to exhibit on a regular basis.. You can see this clearly by studying the attitudes and cultural Icons of most Filipino Americans.
Origins of Pinoys/Pinays:
Are they really Asian? Well we've come to accept the fact the Filipinos come from a part of the world known as South East Asia . But the term ' Asia ' is used in the wrong way. You may notice that contemporary Filipino Americans try very hard to associ ate themselves with groups that we know as Asian. I cannot count the number of times I have seen a ' Third World ' Filipino try to connect themselves to the Chinese or Japanese people. There is no connection and here's why. The Philippines is a Third World country. Nothing respectable has EVER been created by Filipino people during our entire human history. Young Filipino men in America have become obsessed with 'import racing'. They have an enormously perverted affection for Japanese cars. It's a common phenomenon. In their minds, these Filipinos somehow believe that they are Asian and that it somehow connects them to Japanese people and Japanese cars. They often take credit for the ingenuity of Japanese people and say how it's an 'Asian thing'. This term...'Asian thing' derived directly from African American slang 'blackthang'. 'It's a black thang.' 'It's an asian thang.' You can see the connection. It's even funnier that, in Japan , Filipinos are heavily discriminated against. The only filipinos that can live successfully in Japan are the filipino prostitutes. But that's the case for most Filipino people no matter where they live in the world. Now we've come down to this fact...and it is a fact.
Nothing in Filipino Culture can be seen as Asian. They have no architectural, artistic, or cultural influence which is in ANY way, asian. Thinking of the great countries in Asia such as Japan , Korea , and China there is no way you can possibly connect the Philippine Islands . This assault by filipino americans to connect themselves with the great peoples of North East Asia is foul and disgusting. Try visiting a young filipino's web site too. You'll see something called the 'Asian IRC Ring'. It has to do with the chatrooms. The most horrible thing about this is that these TRASHY people are trying to associate themselves with Asia again!! People in Asia don't act like, this at all. What we are seeing here is the natural Filipino in it's element with full access to technology and this is how they act! You will consistently see this behavior over and over again.
Another interesting thing is that these 'thirdworld' people also frequent RC chatrooms such as #chinese #japan and #asian. They must believe that they are some how related racially or culturally to North Asians. But it's completely WRONG! There might have been some distant contact With China and even less with Japan during World War II, but these people are actually more closely related to african americans and Mexican americans.
Do the parents of these young filipinos know what's going on? Would they accept this? I believe that they would and do. This is the natural 'Trash' element in filipinos manifesting itself. Nothing good has ever come from Philippines and I don't believe anything good ever will.
Recognizing your Roots (A Message to Filipinos)
To all filipino people:
Please recognize your ROOTS! You come from the Third World ! You country is a disgusting and filthy place. Most people there live in poverty! Your culture has MUCH MORE SPANISH influence than chinese, and absolutely no JAPANESE influence whatsoever. People in Japan and China , do not act like you. They do not constantly talk about sex and they have a MUCH HIGHER level of RESPECT for each other. There is NO WAY that you can connect yourself to Asia other than location. Your culture and technological advancement does not even come CLOSE to What Chinese, people have done in the past and what Japanese and Korean people are doing now! A hater is someone that is jealous and envious and spends all their time trying to make you look small so they can look tall.
When you make your mark, you will always attract some haters...
That's why you have to be careful who you share your blessings and your dreams with because some folk can't handle seeing you blessed...
It's dangerous to be like somebody else... If God wanted you to be like somebody else He would have given you what he gave them
You don't know what people have gone through to get what they have...
(The problem I have with haters is that they see my glory, but they don't know my story...)If the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence, you can rest assured that the water bill is higher there too!
We've all got some haters among us:
Some people don't like it that you can
*Show love in troubled times
*Cry & still have JOY
* Haters don't want to see you happy
* Haters don't want to see you succeed* Haters don't want you to get the victory
Most of our haters are people that are supposed to be on our side.

2. Having a purpose
3. Remembering that what you have is by divine prerogative and not human manipulation.
