friend of jacque:
"I worked with her for almost a year. I sent her a message as soon as I read about her in FB and I feel sorry for her because she's a victim of a fraud FB account. She was crying on the phone and is now so afraid to go out because of all the hate messages she's been getting the whole day. I don't know how some people can find time to create a fake account just to damage another person. Mind you, Jacque and I are not that close but I feel the need to clear her name because I can just imagine how scared she is right now. Everybody hates her for a comment she never made."
Jacque Bermejo has attempted to commit suicide (from an anonymous tip. I cannot reveal the name) she has locked herself in her room, crying and sulking and no one has been able to contact her. Not even her relatives. Please let's give her a break, let's wait until she releases a statement
UPDATE: The Brother's Official Statement
ok! it all started sa Friendster last year 2008, my sister told me that her account was hacked by someone mad at her prolly inggit or may galit... she really doesn't know or what's the reason why she has been hacked, of corse she's pissed off because this person keeps messing up her friendster profile. So, hinayaan lang ng sister ko yun, since wala nmn xang alam sa social networking or kung ano man, she's a working woman na at wala xang panahon magfriendster.
Ngayon naman this issue has been spreading about her posting such harsh words:
"buti n lg am hir in dubai maybe so many sinners bak der!so year deerving wat happend!"
Ang ate ko hindi ganyan kung magenglish, edukada sister ko at nag graduate sa UP. We came from a PROVINCE and part of a political family. Hindi basta basta si ate jack magpopost na magsisira sa family name namin. Dumaan din kami sa hirap, at for your information binagyo din ang lugar namin, TATLONG BESES. Why in the world will my ate as a filipino disgrace our family and citizen, sana po wag muna kayo manghusga.
Hintayin lang po sana ung explaination, for she doesn't have internet nor load right now, its around 3am-4am at dubai, and I have hard times contacting her myself.
Kung sino ka man gumagamit ng pangalan ng ate ko, mahahannap ka din ng mga bermejo.
UPDATE:
People, Jacque's representatives will be going to the NBI at ten this morning. Her brother will be issuing a statement in a few hours.

bagyong ondoy

yesterday,i was sick and spent the whole day sleeping inside my room.the only time that i get up from my bed was to eat and to pee of course.feeling ko ang sarap matulog kasi ang lakas ng ulan saka malamig,no need for aircon's or electric fan at all.
mga 1 or 2 pm nagbrown-out maybe bec. sa lakas nga ng ulan.
4 pm,i woke up bec.maingay.
paglabas ko to my surprised ang daming tao and ang gulo!yung mga gamit and clothes nila nakatambak sa sala namin and daming kids and people din(neighbors).i asked my brother what happened sabi nya sakin tingnan mo kaya sa labas hanggang bewang na yung baha.when i looked down nyek! ang taas na ng baha.ok wala lang deadma lang natulog lang ulit ako.
mga 2 am may nareceive akong text from ian,one of my friend who lives in marikina.he mentioned that he was in his aunt's house.he mentioned if i was interested of buying a stainless ref just for 250 pesos kasi binibenta nila kunin ko na lang daw sa marikina river.e di ko masyado naabsorb yung sinasabi nya i don't know if it's a joke or what,i just realized that it was a joke when he said na pati aircon nila for sale na rin for 20 pesos lang pero he was not sure kung andun pa sa river yun.what the fuck!nakuha nya pa magjoke!then i texted him and asked him kung ok ba sya and yung family nya, currently they were staying at his aunt's house in katipunan nga good thing nothing bad happens to them.
morning i received a lot of text coming from my friends and asking me how i was, maybe they forgot na 2 storey yung house namin.then i realized to text some of my friends na alam ko na binabaha din yung mga house.naawa ako dun sa isang friend ko na nagwowork sa isang restaurant.3:30 ang out nya sa work sa sta.maria bulacan sya umuuwi.nakauwi sya sa kanila ng 9am ng morning dahil walang madaanan papunta sa kanila lubog na sa baha and to top it all nilakad nya mula marilao up to bocaue exit sa nlex kahapon ganun kagrabe nilakad nya.tsk.tsk.tsk.
nagkakuryente na samin ng 11 am.dun ko na narealized yung aftermath nung typhoon ondoy.grabe!nakakakilabot yung mga pinsala na ginawa nya.all aspects of life naapektuhan, rich and poor, ordinary people and famous artist, old and young,as in lahat affected!
sa mga sakuna na ganito dito natin napapatunayan yung pagiging pilipino natin, bayanihan system kumbaga.ang daming mga taong nagdodonate, nagvovolounteer ng service nila, tumutulong sa abot ng makakaya nila.and this time issues about politics, competitions or rivalries bet.2 networks or other people, away isinantabi muna bec.what important is to help those people in need.
even some famous foreign stars share their sentiments regarding sa sakuna na ito like actress demi moore and alyssa milano and the singer josh groban.
madami ng sakuna na nalampasan ng mga pilipino.alam ko is lang ito sa mga sakuna na malalampasan natin because survivors tayong mga pilipino, lahat kakayanin natin.pero sabi nga sa news kanina it's not also about the material things that is important sa mga people na naapektuhan ng bagyo kundi yung rebuilding din nung life nila mula sa pagkakashock sa pangyayaring ito.let's all pray for those people na marescue na at makasurvive sa disaster na ito.

bye!!!danny..i love you so much!

Danny Gokey, the 29 year-old church music director and recent widower, ended up taking third place in the competition. His rendition of "You Are So Beautiful" brought tears to the eyes of judges Paula and Kara, and was described by Simon Cowell as a "vocal master class". His husky voice was consistently impressive to the judging panel.
Despite the fact that Danny had long been considered to be a front runner in the competition, he ultimately didn’t receive enough votes to take him to the finals. Host Ryan Seacrest said 88 million votes came in, but Danny’s share obviously wasn’t enough.
The judges seemed authentically shocked and surprised when Danny was chosen as the next to go. Ever since the top thirteen were announced, the judges subtly hinted that the finale would show a head-to-head between Adam and Danny. Danny’s husky voice was consistently strong and virtually flawless, despite him screaming his last note in his rendition of "Dream On" last week. Adam’s original rock spin on most of his tunes continues to impress both the judges and fans.
Throughout the entire show, Danny was the only contestant never to be a part of the bottom three. Even long-time favourite Adam Lambert was a bottom three contestant. It just goes to show that anything can happen from week to week. This week just happened to be Danny’s time to go.
I hope Kris wins! I thought Danny had a great voice and would have loved to see a Danny vs. Kris finale. Sorry but I'm not on the Adam bandwagon. I just can't handle it when shriek-boy starts singing... sometimes his songs will start out nice but then he starts screaming and sticks his tongue out and I have to leave the room... not enjoyable much! This season has had the most flagrant and obvious pimping of a contestant (Adam... duh!) that I've ever seen... Ryan has NEVER mentioned the number of votes separating contestants; Katy Perry with Adam Lambert scrawled all over the back of her cape!; Paula picking a song for Danny that no one in the universe has ever heard before or would ever want to hear!?!; Simon talking about personally calling U2's Bono asking permission for Adam to sing "One" and saying Bono said it would be his honor for Adam to sing it... **rigged much**; The judges, especially Paula, drooling all over themselves when Adam so much as moves on stage; Simon giving Allison a not so good review when she absolutely was brilliant on "Alone"; Adam allowed to be on the covers of magazines but Danny not allowed to appear on "Good Morning LA"; The show is Wack this year and the four judges concept sucks. GO KRIS!!! Let's everyone vote for Kris and piss off the tptb at Idol. This will be the upset of the century!!!

ako ang simula

If you see something wrong or something good, tell it to Boto Mo, I-Patrol Mo. If you see someone trying to buy the votes, snap a picture on your cellphone and send it to Boto Mo, I-Patrol Mo. If you see a town mayor using public vehicles for his campaign, shoot video with your cellphone and send it to Boto Mo, I-Patrol Mo. If you see violence, tell Boto Mo, I-Patrol Mo, and after a verification process, They will put it to air.
Introduced in 2007, BMPM empowered citizens to patrol their votes by encouraging them to report election-related anomalies using new media. Its huge success didn’t only spark citizen participation, it also enabled ABS-CBN to document illegal election practices all over the country. It has received recognition from the Philippine Quill Awards, the Anvil Awards, and the Gold Quill Awards.
The idea for Boto Mo, I-Patrol Mo Ako ang Simula was simple: get the people to care and to take action. It’s people power with new technology!

Republic act 8491

Republic Act 8491
Section 20 states: “The rendition of the flag ceremony in official or civic gatherings shall be simple and dignified and shall include the playing or singing of the anthem in its original Filipino lyrics and march tempo.”
Section 37 states: “The rendition of the National Anthem, whether played or sung, shall be in accordance with the musical arrangement and composition of Julian Felipe.”
The law prescribes punishment for a violator of a fine of at least P20,000, or imprisonment of not more than one year.
Martin Nievera might face a prosecution over his incorrect rendition of the national anthem during the Pacquiao-Hatton fight. He sang the opening lines slowly like a ballad and repeated the lines in the manner of romantic crooners. Then he changed the notes and the pitch of the final lines, belting out high notes. And the tempo was not at all the march that Julian Felipe’s composition should be by tradition—and according to law.
The National Historical Institute is preparing to charge him.
Martin defended himself by stressing that he delivered the National anthem to the best of his abilities. It was his intention to sing and represent the country proudly before a global audience.
Here is Martin's statement:
"I cannot apologize for the way i sang it because no one told me about the rules nor the laws in the years past.didn't hear about any of these so-called laws when the others before me sang their versions.i didn't get the memo.i will not apologize for giving my all just to sing that song in front of the world.but i do apologize only to the people afraid of progress and change,of course to the lawmakers and to who ever else took offense to my interpretation of probably the most beautiful song i have ever come across.and to everyone else, god bless your open mind and open heart."
The singer ended his message with words,"still a proud Filipino,Martin Nievera".
From all over the world, most of those who saw and heard Mr. Nievera and wrote comments to newspapers and Internet blogs were appalled. Some complaints attacked Mr. Nievera with the accusation that perhaps he was using the event, witnessed by millions including record label talent scouts, to advertise his abilities as an American-style singer.I think Martin's rendition is very artistic. As an artist,he sang the national anthem very creatively and in the world of music the freedom of interpretation was there.
Well everybody is entitled for their own opinion but i still love Martin Nievera in spite all of the controversies.*winks*

ebola reston virus
ebola reston virus was found in the hog farms on the 3 provinceshere in the country namely in bulacan, pangasinan and nueva ecija.all the hog farms were now in quarantine and if by any chance that they sell the meat to the market the DOH assures that it has no effect at all to people's health.and the DOH added that to make sure that the meat that they bought is safe they have to cook the meat properly because heat kills the virus.
however,no matter what the DOH says about the virus the fact that the meat has a virus,it's still have a psychological effect to me.to be safe i wouldnt eat meat and chicken for the meantime( because in hongkong 80,000 chicken was killed because of bird's flu).it is better to be safe than indulge myself to food that is not yet proven safe.
here are ome facts about ebola reston virus...
The Reston species of EBOV is unique in that it originated in Asia, while the other filoviruses have their origins in Africa. EBOV Reston emerged in 1989/90 as the causative agent of an epizootic among a group of cynomolgus monkeys (Macaca fascicularis) imported from the Philippines into the United States. Subsequently, at least two more introductions of EBOV Reston have occurred in the United States and Italy. Epidemiological investigations in the Philippines have documented active virus transmission in the primate export facility which was the source of all the shipments of infected monkeys. Despite pathogenicity for non-human primates, EBOV Reston has never been associated with any notable disease in man. However, serological investigations documented at least eight seroconversions among exposed animal handlers, which suggests that EBOV Reston infections in humans are infrequent and lead to either asymptomatic or subclinical courses
